Jewish Youth Leadership

We're not just about having fun and learning.

OK, well, we're mostly about having fun and learning. But one of the most important skills an adolescent can learn is how to be a leader, and to take responsibility for the Jewish people. That's why we created JYL. That, and because giving kids a say in planning kids' activities is just plain smart.

JYL is a group of committed seventh and eight graders who meet biweekly at a guided council meeting to help plan and implement ideas for Nageela's youth programs. We're really excited about this group, and announcing the members of our first ever JYL council:
